By using the PitStop app you agree to these terms. If they do not suit you, simply do not use the app.
About the app
PitStop is a record-keeping tool: fuel logs, expenses, maintenance, diagnostics via an OBD2 adapter. The app provides reference information and calculations based on the data you enter and is not official service documentation from your vehicle's manufacturer.
Free version, Early status and Pro
PitStop exists in three states:
- Free version — the core features are free forever;
- Early status — for those who installed PitStop before Pro sales launched: all local Pro features are unlocked forever and free of charge, as a thank-you. Features added later are not part of this benefit. The status is linked to your devices by Device ID (no more than three); it cannot be passed on by copying a backup file. Moving to new devices is done by restoring a backup;
- PitStop Pro — a one-time purchase with a perpetual activation code tied to the device (Device ID). There are no subscriptions. Moving to a new device is done via a backup or by reissuing the code for the new Device ID.
Road safety
Do not use the app's screens (including the HUD) while driving — drive the car, not the phone. Diagnostics do not replace qualified repairs: make maintenance decisions with professional recommendations in mind.
Limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is". The developer is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or vehicle malfunctions arising from using or not using the app.
